Renaat Van Rompaey, managing director
Forests and Biodiversity
Renaat holds an MSc in Tropical Forestry from
Ghent University and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen
University. He has 20 years of experience with international projects
and programmes in the three tropical continents. He is specialised in
natural resources management planning, biodiversity conservation
strategies and sustainable rural development, but also has a thorough
understanding of communication, business development, research &
development and project cycle management, including evaluation. He is an
accredited expert to the European Parliament and evaluator of proposals
to the European Commission. He speaks French, English, German and Dutch
fluently and has an important network in the political and academic
world, both in Europe as globally.

& Rural Development
Trilok has more than 25 years of professional experience
in water resources and rural development projects worldwide. He holds a
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, and a MSc degree and a PhD degree in the field of water resource management
from Wageningen University. Since his graduation, he has
worked in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Asia and
Egypt.
He is fluent in English, Dutch, Nepali (native) and Hindi.
