Footprint Reduction Expert Group (FOOTEX)

In June 2010 WIx started the Footprint Reduction Expert Group, to support Europe's effort to half its ecological footprint by 2020. Such is reduction is the only way to save the planet.

FOOTEX developed a revolutionary Ten Tips to Half Europe's Footprint (and Save the Planet):

1     Every European has to lift one foot. Only on one leg, we can save the Planet. Draconic problems ask for draconic measures. Half the pressures. Double the burdens.

2     The Global Union. Forget about independence. Join all countries into one. 

3     Stop fuelling the destruction. Double fuel prices by including external costs. Repair external damage. 

4     Degrow Human Population. Half it by a global one child policy: give every first child on the planet a cost covering allowance. 

5     Stop scavenging. Double meat and cheese prices. Think global, eat local. Forbid carnivore pets. 

6     Forbid non biodegradable packaging. Double the caution on cans and bottles. 

7     Let the women rule the world. All men back to work. 

8     Half the Politics. Think twice, speak half.

9     Promote Global Progress. Forget about individual growth. 

10    Travel virtually. Develop technologies to empower people wherever the are.

Be prepared for big change. Make friends around the Equator.
